RDU General Aviation Inlet
Investigation and Repair
As a subconsultant to RS&H, Inc., Alpha & Omega Group provided engineering services to investigate the inlets in possible need of repair in the General Aviation apron.
The project was part of a larger project for a Master Agreement for services to the airport. As part of those services, RS&H contacted A&O in order to observe, repair and design replacements for segments that are no longer viable.
A&O performed onsite inspections, determining which covers were loose and in need of repairs. They also developed the repair details and specifications regarding removal, cleaning, and resetting of the grate covers. A&O also attended two project meetings, offering an engineers’ opinion of probable cost. Ω
