Ford Stream Crossing Replacement
Alpha & Omega Group was selected by the US Forest Service to provide civil and structural engineering services for a design study to replace the ford stream crossing over Cedar Rock Creek in the Nantahala National Forest near Brevard, NC.
A&O’s services included field visits, review of the field survey provided by the US Forest Service, vertical and horizontal roadway alignment design, erosion control design, storm drainage design, roadway cross-sections, detour roadway design, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, aluminum culvert replacement design and an engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost.
