Handy House Structural Assessment
A lpha & Omega Group was selected by HagerSmith Design to evaluate the structural condition of the historic Handy House.
The 1908 Colonial Revival two-story timber framed structure with a basement is used for state offices and is overseen by the State Construction Office. Alpha & Omega Group performed non-destructive assessment based on access as provided.
The team of HagerSmith and Alpha & Omega Group visited the structure to take accurate measurements and to document the deficiencies and structural condition of the building, including visible cracks, settlement, previous repairs, and areas that may require additional investigation. The structural team of Alpha & Omega Group then provided a written report discussing the information gathered, evaluation of the information, and repair recommendations. Ω
