Bridge Replacement
As part of CH Engineering’s team, Alpha & Omega Group provided hydraulic engineering and structural engineering services for the replacement of three bridges in McDowell County and one bridge in Rutherford County.
The hydraulic scope of work included the development of three culvert survey reports and one pipe data sheet. One location was within a FEMA-detailed study and required a memorandum of agreement.
The structural scope of work included the development of plans and specifications for a single 10’x5’ RCBC and concrete headwalls for two aluminized corrugated metal pipe culverts.
The erosion and sediment control scope of work included the development of plans and specifications to protect a stream from sediment generated from site construction. One location was classified as a trout stream, while another was classified as high quality waters. Ω
