North Haven Church
Site Plan and Stormwater Control Device
Alpha & Omega provided civil engineering services to assist North Haven Church with site development for a new education building, an expansion to the existing gymnasium, an on-site fire hydrant extension, and a stormwater control measure (SCM). The plans for the educational building were subject to a new, rigorous site plan review by the City of Raleigh, and it was necessary to submit to the City’s planning department for a long review process.
The site plan included demolition and erosion control, site layout, grading and drainage, and a utility plan for the fire hydrant and domestic services. An SCM was needed for the gymnasium expansion to satisfy NCDENR requirements and city codes. We designed a bio-retention pond for maximum buildout.
Landscape plans included a planting plan, determination and delineation of a tree conservation area, and a tree conservation report. Ω
