The timber deck and rails of the wetlands boardwalk were replaced with a composite material. The original observation bump-outs were built on an angle, but our design squared them off. A roof structure was also added to cover the observation bump-outs.
A&O’s construction administration manager scheduled a pre-bid conference, issued addenda and made a recommendation for award. After selection, A&O scheduled and conducted a pre-construction conference. J.C. Edwards, Inc. was selected as the contractor. During the construction period, A&O scheduled and held progress meetings and oversaw close-out documentation before final completion. The Pond Boardwalk is scheduled for repairs at a later date. Ω
